Autumn 2011: Theatre: November – Claire played in the two-hander The Golden Hour with Charles Davies, written for them by Andrew Bridgmont. September - Claire appeared as Mandy in Paper Fortunes at The Canal Cafe Theatre. A new one hour play by award winning writer Roz Wyllie. Produced by Rogue Writers. Press: Claire Porter is heartbreaking as the forlorn mother, balancing some meek inadequacy with the rage of a woman who needs to be heard. The Stage. Film: August – Claire played Fairy Queen Blaithnaid in To The Waters And The Wild for Shattered Slate Productions. TV: October – SILK for the BBC
Current Writing: By Moonlight - The new script for a feature film co-written by Tasha Bertram and Claire Porter of Brodie Films and BlueGreen Productions. Currently under consideration with the BBC.
Wine, Chips and Funerals - A full length script written for a multimedia treatment is in development. A semi-autobiographical work written by Claire Porter. See page.
Future Plans: Goddess - This extraordinary road movie-come love story, based on true events, is awaiting the greenlight for full production and shooting schedule. Claire Porter is cast to play the lead role EDE.
